Tennies Home Inspection was established by Jim Tennies in the Spring of 2016 and is now serving the Chautauqua County area.

I completed the 140-hour Certified Adult Training Services Home Inspector Program and am licensed by the State of New York. Additionally, I have an Associate Degree in Occupational Science in Building Construction, a Bachelor’s of Science in Vocational Technical Education, and from 1986 to 2000 I was a building contractor based out of Westfield, New York. In addition to running a small business, I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education and teach at Chautauqua Lake Central School.
My greatest asset is my ability to interact with the realtor and client and produce a clear, concise technically exhaustive report in an understandable manner. Reports will generally be emailed within 24 hours.
My inspections range from two to three hours depending on the size of the home. The realtor and client are encouraged to follow along as the inspection occurs.
